Prostate MR Imaging and Intervention

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:

1. Describe patient preparation for both diagnostic and interventional prostate MRI examinations
2. Properly choose coils, patient positioning and prescribe imaging protocols to achieve MR images of high diagnostic quality or suitable for interventional planning
3. Successfully analyze prostate datasets (perfusion) and correlate sequences
4. Obtain a biopsy specimen from a prostate phantom using MR-guidance and computer-aided interventional planning software
5. Deliver post-procedure care instructions to patients and/or family members
